Hebrews 4:9-10 There remains therefore a rest for the people of God.
10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

Just thought I'd add a little more to it. To rest is to find peace. Finding rest is the heavenly blessedness in which God dwells, and of which he has promised to make persevering believers in Christ partakers after the toils and trials of life on earth are ended. (Strong's)
The initial toils and trials of life are the battles true Christians have against sin.
To rest in this context is to finally be in a place where our conscience no longer convicts us of sin, and where we are done with our sin where we can finally find rest or have peace of mind that we have denied ourselves the right to follow our sin and accept the spirit of God. The world has been convicted of sin. We have been convicted of sin.
Paul said "I have fought the fine fight." Against what? Jesus said, "take courage I have conquered the world. Conquered what?
As Paul was, we too are in a fight against our own sin, and when we finally win over sin by not giving in to our desires, we win the fight and resist Satan so he will flee from us and this is where we can rest.
To conquer the world as Jesus did is to resist all fleshly temptations which drive us to sin. Having faith that through Jesus words of encouragement and the power of Gods spirit is what will aid us in driving our sins away. When our conscience no longer convicts us of our sin and we can come to the place where we know we are obedient to the word of God, we have peace of mind. We have entered God's rest.
